Our mission is to distribute and archive works of time-based art. Each issue highlights artists working in new or experimental media, whose works are best documented in video or sound.

Tore Terrasi

Tore Terrasi received a Masters of Fine Arts in Visual Design from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and his work and performances have been nationally and internationally exhibited.

Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Texas at Arlington, Tore has held positions at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Bridgewater State College, Rhode Island College, Lasell College, Emmanuel College, and the Community College of Rhode Island, teaching a wide range of courses in graphic design, typography, digital art, and animation.

He finds his work hard to categorize by traditional definitions and draws from a wide range of disciplines including motion graphics, digital art, typography, graphic design, photography, sound and music, creative writing, interactive media, 3D animation, as well as the traditional Fine Art disciplines. He has always likened his approach to the creative process to that of a benign mad scientist.
